I was driving home last nast at about 65 mph and all of a sudden this horrible grindng noise starting comming from the Transfer case
will do it in all ranges ncluding N when in gear

any ideas
is it fixable ?
or jut go to the juck yard?

What lubricating oil is in your TC, it should be ATF. If you/someone filled it with say 90wt then the oil pump has probably twisted off and no lubrication is getting to the main shaft.

I was running ATF just changed it in DEC

How can it be in N and in gear at the same time. You mean trans is in gear, transfer case is in N?

ya With Trans in gear and tranfer case in any range including N-- I am getting horrible grinding noise(but less servere when in Reverse)
I used the stephoscope and made sure it was the Tranfer Case too, not the trans
