Hey guys I bought my truck from Warnock Ford here in NJ. It was brought back in after the guy couldnt afford to keep it anymore. It had 5,000 miles on it when I got it back in June. My question is, how do you know what job your truck is? I have an 08 F250 Lariat Crew Cab with the short bed. I do know I installed the Job 3 air dam on my own. Any help would be appreciated.

Open the driver's door and look down at the bottom of the doorpost behind the door. There is a Federal Certification label there, that includes tire size and inflation, VIN, a bunch of codes, and the month/year of assembly.

Generally, if was your truck was assembled in January through June, 2007, it's a Job 1. If it was assembled in July through December, 2007, it's a Job 2. If it was assembled in 2008, it's a Job 3.

Look at the sticky post at the top of this forum. That post shows you how to tell changes made for Job 2 and Job 3.

The Job 2 & newer are big size air dams, like real big. You have a job 3 by your sig, so you have the updated one. I want to switch my job 2 out for a job 1.
My truck was built 3/08 so that makes it a job 3 ?
