I did the 05' conversion when the 05's came out but recently had a little fender bender and the bumper, bumper cover and left headlight are needing to be replaced. The truck is maroon and I had the bumper cover painted to match when I originally did the conversion. Anyhow... I have been doing a lot of traveling and the truck is getting pounded with bugs that are tough to wash off without using a brush and potentially screwing up the paint on the bumper cover and the chrome grille. My idea is... going with a new chrome bumper and the XL black stipple grille and bumper cover along with the black Harley headlights. Do you think this will look bad? The rear bumper is chrome with a black stipple bumper top on it so it should match. My thinking is that I will be able to just shoot some simple green on the front end and power wash the bugs away. I don't have time to detail and wax the thing anymore. Thanks for the input, Daryl
