dont go to a dealer, go to a junk yard or call some local water or eletrical co's and see if that have any beds off their trucks in their fleet.

Actually, I have a takeoff bed that I am going to sell, but don't know how to price it until I get a baseline retail cost.

You must be looking for a bed! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Yeah, it's a 2008 that went straight to the service body shop, so it's flawless.

I think I'll move this down to the classified section.

going rate for a good bed lights tailgate included is around 1250 to 1500.

Most are going to be white as they are take offs. I would call around to local service body builders in your area, it is the best way to get a Brand new undamaged bed.....just will have to pay to have it painted...

A new "body in white" bed for a super duty from the dealer is $2,500. I was looking at building A short bed reg cab and that was with my "discount".

I think my last one was $1700. That was king size with the pillow top. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

I wait for the mismatch sales to come on. You could have got the same thing for 1200. After you cover it with sheets, who cares. LOL
