How much does a new bed cost?

Does any body know what a new 8 foot bed would cost from the dealer? Seems like you have to buy each panel seperate?

A new "body in white" bed for a super duty from the dealer is $2,500. I was looking at building A short bed reg cab and that was with my "discount".
