I found them for $38 plus tax and freight. Special order from the local International dealer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif Not sure if it's worth it. They sell the oil filter for $22 plus tax and freight. I'm aproaching 12,000 miles and wondering if it's time to change the fuel filters.

That price seems high. I was able to get them for $29 at my local IH dealer, but then they had 41 sets in stock too. You may want to call around a little.

You can use 15K as mentioned, however thats not for sure. Why, just got back from 1600mi. trip. New FF before trip. Got home, drained HFCM, you shoulda seen the load of crap that came out. Fortunately ran ok. I do carry spare set FF.

Drain HFCM monthly for sure. JMO!. Good luck!

btw..before trip, using local "known clean fuel" my FF would go at least 20K maybe more? However just "one dirty tank fuel" can mess up new FF. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

47,000 still got the org. on the 05! Water in Fuel light has been comming on and i do have the new one. Just haven't done it yet!

You are flirting with damaging your injectors - just be careful as Ford will not cover them if so.

While we're on the subject of fuel filters... can anyone give me both th e IH and the [Ford] Motorcraft part number(s) for both fuel filters?

Also, someone mentioned above the diesel suplement manual (yes, I have mine - at home)... does anyone know if there's an online copy available?
