I'm picking up my new 2022 F-250 Suoerduty on Saturday. My old truck is burning oil and I need to tow my enclosed car trailer from Tucson to Albuquerque and back. Is this okay with a new truck?

From the owner's manual:

BREAKING-IN
Your vehicle requires a break-in period. For the first 1,000 mi (1,600 km), avoid driving at high speeds, heavy braking, aggressive shifting or using your vehicle to tow. During this time, your vehicle may exhibit some unusual driving characteristics.

Truth be told, if you aren't towing that heavy ( is the trailer empty?) it probably won't hurt it. But to be safe, I'd follow the owners manual recommendation.

There are dozens of threads on this subject. And you will get dozens of opinions. You do what you want, and you take your chances. But the reply by klhansen says it all. Read the manual. From there, you are on your own.

Good luck, and congratulations on the new truck.

Thanks, that's what I remember when I got my 2002 truck. Guess I'll do some scenic driving and get some miles on it. I'm pulling a 22-foot-long enclosed trailer with a 68 Mustang inside, so it's heavy.
