I've got the bolt off the vss and can twist it, but it doesn't want to come out. Any suggestions before I break it?

If it has moved a little you may be able to spray some lube in there,, Its only an O ring..try prying evenly on two sides...

hmmm.... the dreaded corrosion monster no doubt has a hold of her.

I would soak with some penetrating oil and let it sit for a while and work, then resume twisting and pulling, perhaps tap on it gently to loosen up the corrosion, try to avoid prying on it, that certainly will result in that dreaded ...

Thanks for the advice. I just put the bolt back in for now. Should have tried to get it out before I changed the fluid!
