Hi everyone, i need the tool for the hp oil lines. If anyone have a real one, could you measure it precisely and post that info. It `ll be easier to make one with the exact size instead of improvising. Thanks.

I do not know of anyone that bought the tool, the best thing I heard about so far was a "Screwdriver type pry bar" (wide end I suppose) that was bent about 45* on the end. Then they ground it until it fit. (Trial and error, a little at a time.)

I measured mine.

lenght 5.0"
width 1.0"
.085 thick
slot at end is .415 wide
slot at end is .590 deep
the tips are tapered on both sides of the slot so it will side on when you use it.

Jim you are correct. I bought a Carpet Tool at Northern Tool just last Tuesday that I made work. I can't find it on Northern's website, but I'll try to get a picture and part number for y'all tonight. Took all of 15 sec to grind and worked like a charm.
