hey guys, i have a very leakey hpop and was on the diesel o ring site and was wondering which kit i needed.
how do i tell if i need the basic oring set or the extended? or should i use this instead. i amgoing to replace the timing cover seal just in case. i havent taken th epump off yet. but am very sure its from the hpp as the oil is mostly around the front of the valley after cleaning and retesting.

it might not be the pump leaking why dont you check first and verify where its leaking from.

verify the fuel drain valve isnt leaking.

verify the service plug isnt leaking on the hpop.

you might not need to take it all apart.

alright. well sorta related... i also have 650 with the 7.3. i noticed the fuel bowl looks different. as in bigger and possibly in a different location. do i need a different gasket set for it for the fuel side. i figured i will just replace all gaskets and seals if i have to take it off anyway. little preventive maintenance never hurt right? was going to do the same on the 650 as well.
more insight maybe?
also, will the fuel lines on the fuel bowl leak for sure if i try to reuse them? or should i be able to reuse them without an issue?

** This complete 11 Viton o-ring reseal kit contains: WILL THIS WORK ON A F-650 TOO?!? http://www.dieselorings.com/fuel-bowl-reseal-kit-1999-2003.html
