The motor needs to be pulled to replace the branch tubes.

Dont yank the motor, lift the cab. Just did mine. Looks very intimidating but in reality you will thank yourself doing so. Incidentally, after doing this Ill never yank a 6.0 again and if I did yank a motor I`ll still lift the cab. Its literally that much easier. I just replaced the hpop and tube seals on my 03 just to have the same low oil pressure problem at idle. Cannot me the lpop due to running fine all the way to 4g. I`m now thinking injector orings at the top.

I haven't lifted the cab on my Superduty but I've lifted a couple of F150s and I absolutely agree with the statement above. Its one of those tasks that looks intimidating but is actually pretty simple. I'm an older guy. Working alone at an average pace I can start after breakfast and have the cab in the air by lunch. Once its up EVERYTHING is easier.
