quick question for you guys. Will the newer SD HPOP help with my mid to high range power? Right now when I lay into it at about 50mph or higher, I dont really pull very hard when I floor it. I havnt got an intercooler yet so I do have to watch my egts, but will the HPOP make much of a difference? Also, would electric fuel help that much or not? Chck out my sig. to see what I have done so far. Thanks

Ied say with new SD HPoP u should see a difference since the stock pump is roughly only efficent enough to run the stock sticks i run stage ones and 55-65 mph with my adj pot mod ill throw the oil pressure to low/high code and the truck will somewhat defuel and go into a limp mode with less power and if i hold the pedal at a certain spot around 2rpms it will do the same. but all in all youll have better pressure throughout the RPM range so the injectors will also work more efficently as lower oil pressure then what the injectors need will cause poor fuel flow through the tip of the injectors cause a poor fuel burn due to and unefficent spray pattern so it could possibly help you in 2 ways 1 being the power always there plus a possibility of better fueling due to better atomization of the fuel from a more precise fuel spray

Well hope im correct in my rambling but thats how i see the HPOP system working if i had the funds my truck would have a SD pump since its next on my list after stacks then a chip after that so i get the full benefits

Wow, that was hard to read 96stroker. One sentence? No periods or commas?
Anyway, I ran the stealth pump for a while with stock engine and it didn't really make a lot of difference as far as power was concerned. I now am running the newer pump because my factory one blew a bottom plug. If you don't have to change yet, I wouldn't do it just now. I read somewhere that all remanufactured pumps now have the 17 degree.

I wonder if remanufactured pumps come with new IPR's? My filter/water separator canister is off and it's darn easy to get to. I seen them on ebay for under $400.

Ford, even though you have a lot of injector for your limited mods, it should pull pretty good until you get to all out extended pulls. Unless you have a scanner that is reading hpo oil pressure while driving, its hard to tell if you're out of oil. Do you set any HPO cels under throttle? You haven't said anything about fuel, but you could be out of fuel pressure also.

You noted high egts? What is high? Is it tuned for the stg IIs? Stage IIs can just piss fuel at tip in and low boost levels if the chip is not dialed in.

Chip was not reburnt for injectors, Jodi seemed to think they would be ok unless it smoked at idle, which it does not. Can hit around 40psi of boost so I know its not because of that, even though its just a waste anyways. I have had a scanner on it when I first installed injectors and the longer I stayed in the throttle my hpop dropped after about 20 mph.

I think it would definitely make a difference. It'll really flatten out the torque curve on the truck and make it feel like it gained more power than it did. Mine gives me a CEL if I push it hard. I was going to try the 17* route, but I think I've decided just to get the Stage 1 Stealth and be done with it.

what pressures were you seeing on the scanner?

oil pressure I believe would drop below 1000, but cant remember exactly. I think it started out around 1250-1300 then fell to 1000-950. Something like that. I hope those numbers sound about right, and im not mistaken horribly.

On my truck with Swamp's Baby injectors 150cc stock 146 nozzles a new remaned SD 17 degree made a difference, combined with e-fuel made it smoother and pull HARD to redline. I would recommend some updated HPOP and E-fuel for sure....
