when converting to a hydra boosted brake system, what do you do with the need for vacuum for your switches for in the cab? they all run off vacuum right? can you just add something onto the the bottom of the air filter? and use the engine for vacuum? it shouldn't require alot of vacuum to run those switches..

The intakes do suck a lot of air in, but they don't create any vacuum cause there ain't no throttle blades or any other flow restriction, so plumbing it like you think won't work. I just kept my vacuum pump, it's near dead and needs to be revved up to 2000 rpms before it makes enough vacuum to start operating the HVAC doors, but once the vacuum reservoirs fill up it's pretty good at keeping up with them and the cruise.
