does that seem low I drove probably 242 miles without going over 2000 rpm and prob 4 giving her hell I took my buddy for a ride who just put a supercharger on an 04 f150 but I just dont think 11.1 mpgs is right?

well, 90 miles of driving, 2 mile trips at a time....there's your problem

Especially if the engine is cold. Until the diesel is fully warm, it will suck fuel. Short trips are the hardest thing on an engine.

Lift kit ? Oversize tires ? Just like you, I know that my fuel mileage is all over the place too. That's why I average it out over a 12 month period and I'm averaging 16.5 MPG.

If you have oversize tires like I do, 315's as opposed to the 265's that came with the truck you have a 10% difference in actual mileage right there that has to be accounted for. For example, when I pull up to the pump and I have 200 miles on the trip gauge I've actually driven 220 miles.

I have a ScanGauge2 that I calibrated my actual speed with a GPS. So if I'm cruising at 70 on the ODO my SG2 is showing me the real MPH at 77. Good to know if Johnny Law is lurking somewhere on the side lines.
