I’m fairly new to the deisel community and new to doing work on them though I know my way around a combustion engine diesel is a little different. I just installed a new DB2 Injection pump on my 1986 F-250. Something is wrong with it because as soon as I started it, I didn’t even touch the throttle and it starts revving to straight redline, shut the key off and it’s still running, I had to untighten 6 of the 8 injection lines just to get it to idle down and then the other two just to get it to shut off and I don’t know how to fix it but it is my everyday drive and I need help or assistance, I do still have the old pump but if I give the original throttle it dies so I believe that’s a bad governor spring
