I have a 99 7.3, it's built for the most part, the motor is a reman with 20,000 miles on it and I bought a honey badger hpop from Dynoproven, I've had it less than a year and it has gone out 7 times, some of the times it blew the seal out and leaked out and others it snapped the shaft or broke the gear, I've heard that crank walk could cause this but I'm not sure, I'm trying to figure out if I should start with the pump or are there easy ways to find out if the crank is walking? I've been chasing my tail on this and it's caused me a lot of trouble

Crank walk??
Not likely the cause of HPOP problems. The HPOP is driven off the cam gear.
Leaks are probably from issues with assembly of the parts that are o-ring sealed.
At seven failures, you probably have more HPOP failures than all the TDS members with 7.3L Powerstrokes. You at least have the record for individual faillures.

Get a different pump. The honey badger pumps have a bad rep. They were all hyped up to be something special and failed miserably. Just like the SRP pumps.

Go with a adrenaline, MB hpop, or T500.
