I purchased the SCT from ID a few weeks ago with just the three basic tunes. Street, Tow Aggr, and Economy. I run the street tune 99% of the time and enjoy the extra power however, it is not tire smoking power, infact I can't even break the tires (33x13.50-18 Pro Comp Extreme A/T) loose. I read many posts about people smoking the tires from a roll on in 2nd and 3rd gear but that doesn't seem to be the case with mine. A WOT start from a dead stop only produces quicker accel, no tire spin.
Does this seem right? Does this compare with your experience running the STREET tune??

I can break the tires loose from a stop on my street program (325/65/18).

I much prefer the power of the Xtreme, but the temps scare me.

Eric, I need more already. What do I need to get to 550rwhp?/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

I'll smoke 1st and spin for a little bit when I hit 2nd and chirp 3rd. Gotta love a SunCoast tranny with shift %'s at 25%!! And that's on 38's with 4.30's. That's on an Extreme Street program. I've also always heard that the 06 turbo's don't quite hit as hard as say my 03 or even the 04's. Is there some merritt to this Eric if you keep reading this?

I keep debating whether or not I should go with Xtreme Street.

I love running Street as a daily driver and I don't want to pop headgaskets...but apparently there's a quite a difference between the two.

Hey man go with the extreme....you will be happy you did. If you monitor you gauges then you will not have to worry about damaging the truck.

Yeah I caved and ordered it last night. The shifting actually feels better to me than the regular street.

I left 20 feet of rubber on a neighborhood street just to make sure it was the real deal.

Not disappointed.
