My 03 7.3 is idling at about 800 rpm after warmed up and some driving. I just replaced the ipr with an alliant from thoroughbred diesel and replaced the ipc before that with an Autozone unit. Question is is this normal? If I put put he truck in park and step on the brake pedal it will idles back down to 650.....

The issue I'm having is it stays at 800 rpm after it hits op temp. It has been in the mid forties over night with temps in high sixtiesto kow seventies during the day. Before changing sensor and vavle it always was at 650 when warm....

i do not use torque pro but not sure if it can pull powerstroke code. the fack that the engine still goes on high idle when warm, that tell me the PCM receiving wrong information somewhere. so it think the engine still cold. IAT could be one. maybe the EOT sensor...

with all the info you give, i'm not sure your torque pro app is powerstroke capable. it might be able to pull some of the basic code but not all of them.

I did a quick search on your torque pro and what i fount is its for basic monitoring.

where are you located? maybe someone close has AE

They are supposed to be compatible. The only thing hey won't do is buzz and cylander contribution. I can read virtually every sensor in real time. But I could be wrong. I'm in San Diego, mira Mesa is the neighborhood

Two new bits of info. When I come to a stop light after stopping a couple of firm presses on the brake pedal and it will idle down. Also if I slide it into neutral it idkes down.

It should idle up only in park and not touching the brake and eot not over 122f (or something close to that)

Did you read the link articdriver give you?

so i bought torque pro and install the PIDs for the ford 7.3 and. i remove the IAT out and scan. torque pro scan no code and my AE scanne the P0113 Intake Air Temperature High Input. So NO the torque pro can't pull powerstroke code. may be some but not all. you need something like AE (autoenginuity) with ford Pkg. I took some pic but the phone dont wanna put it online
