1988 f250 7.3idi. Engine and dash lights wont shut off when ignition turned off. Removed ignition switch, unplugged it from harness, dash lights on, engine still running. Have to unplug fuel solenoid to shut down engine. Disconnect batteries to shut power off to dash. Ran out of time to do any more electrical tests yesterday, was wondering if anyone has had this occur before. I thought I was losing my mind when I unplugged the ignition switch and everything was still on, lol. Truck has sat for several months, will look for rodent damage to wiring when I have a moment, though I have about 8 feral cats that live at my shop, and no signs of any rodents.
