I will be picking up my new '06 F350 King Ranch duallie on Tuesday and have been pouring through post afetr post about the available tuners, chips, etc... available for this truck. I'm so freaking confused. I currently have an '01 7.3L with a 6 speed tranny so transission control has not been a factor before. I will have the torqushift tranny on this truck so making sure I don't trash it is a huge concern. Here's what I am looking for:

[*]No manual gauges, I want to keep the interior as clean as possible. I want an all in one unit like the Edge Attitude monitor.

[*]Shift on the fly power adjustability.

[*]Safe, reliable transmission control.

[*]Minimum amount of wires to run in the cab. I love the idea of the wireless Banks Power PDA.

So far I'm leaning toward the SCT tuner and the Quadzilla Commander, but I don't know if they are stackable like the Edge Juice Platinum/Evo combination. Is the Juice Platinum stackable with the SCT tuner and if so which one would keep control of the transmission parameters?

Anyway, can you see my dilemma? I'm open to suggestions.

Safe reliable transmission control take priority over max power. I'm typically happy with my 7.3L with my EVO set on the 80hp setting so max power is not my biggest concern.

The Commander will control a lot of boxes and plug in devices but it will not be able to control the SCT. YOu may want to look at the list of stuff it can control. Also the new Edge Platiunm does have some transmission controls they are not the Most refined but they do work and it will not destroy your trans.

if you dont want any gauges, in a pod than the banks pda is great but it is not commpletley wireless ,and the only way to use the pda is with a six gun and i have ran a six gun and pda i love the pda but the six gun power is not all what they say it is and your tranny will shift like @#$%,i use the pda for guages and a superchip [email protected] for the power thier has been no prblems combinding the two tou just hav eto leave the six gun at stock.
