I want to be able to burn my WMO from my 97. Maybe 3 gal per month at 5%. I am looking for a inexpensive way to do this. I thought maybe run it through two or three 1 or 2 micron socks. Will this get it clean enough? Maybe later I will try WVO and on a greater level.

If you are only doing a gallon here and there strait in a full tank of diesel will work fine.

Also, the best (easiest) method of "filtering" is not to filter at all, set it aside for a month (at room temperature) then just pour off the top. When you get to the sediment, stop and discard.

This works for WVO and WMO is not much different. I would probably get a hold of a 1micron filter bag and pour it through as a final check to confirm that the bad stuff has settled out.

I make centrifuges that do this at speed but only a consideration once you are dealing with hundreds of gallons or more...

Thanks for your help! I think I am going to go with the socks but first I have some oil setting for a couple months I'll do as you suggested and see how well it settled.
