have 2004 6.0 6 speed with quadzilla 160 hp chip cold air intake, 4 in exhaust. in process getting isspro egt and boost gauges. would like to put nitrous, what would i need to do to stand the nitrous zex kit 35 200 hp /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif
what would be good to stack with the quadzilla? would like to have mega hp.

If you want big HP...you takes ya chances.
BUT..if you're willing to takes ya chances...don't stacxk it with anything...instead put a wet shot on it instead of a dry shot.
I know of 1 truck with SCT, intake and exhaust..plus a big wet shot that laid down 597 HP to the wheels.

I run the Quad stacked with the SCT with some good results. Tons of people have said I'm wrong but until I get a tune that outperforms the stack I will continue to run it this way. The dang truck is strong but if you take one of the two out of the equation the truck is a dog. I tried to just run the 160 on a trip to Vegas this past weekend and it didn't take long for me to download the SCT and the truck was right where it needed to be!

Thanks! I'm running the SCT performance tune from John Wood. I haven't had any troubles as of yet. I guess time will tell. As far as nitrous goes I'd talk to Gene aka weweld about his nitrous set up on the stroked lightening truck.

DJ has a kit ready to go out, or will be ready real soon.. not exactly sure which.

If you want to run a big shot of NOS you should be putting in a set of studs. Some people get lucky and have no trouble with the stock head bolts. We got away with it for a long time but I just pulled the heads off Stroked Lightning and we have blow'n the gaskets out of 6 of the 8 holes. If you want to play be ready to pay.

What do you feel would be a safe shot to use with the new Ford head gaskets and bolts and a 100 horse or so program on an 04 6.0. Correct me if I'm wrong but dosen't the nitrous raise cylinder pressure also?
