I was reading the sticky and didn't see exactly what I was looking for. I saw that tires wheels and those things are not to be mentioned in this forum but my question.

I'm looking at maybe buying a 2006 Ford F-250 Super duty single cab standard option 4x4 6.0L V8. I don't know much about diesel. Except for common knowledge. My buddy says the only thing wrong the 06' f250 were transmission issues. Any help? The only I'm looking at is for sale at $8,999.

It has 162,358 miles and it looks nice inside. In single 18 and in college but work 60 hours a week while managing schoo. Any help would be much appreciated

You might be ok but might not. Bullet proofing or repair bills might crush you. Financing will probably be next to impossible unless it's a buy here, pay here lot.

I would find a good jap car for reliability and fuel sipping, until graduation.

^^^^ like Nick said, maybe you'll be ok maybe not. Do you want to risk it????

If you really want a diesel truck, spend a little bit more and get a 7.3 but if no need of a truck, good car good on fuel and put money aside.

Would not recommend for young guys

Would I use the power of my diesel of course I would...just the thought I do a lot of commuting and on the trails in the woods and really would like a truck. I don't pull too much move the occasional camper some vehicles and what not.

I thought about picking up a ranger but second guessed that too
