Looking at the engine from the front......remove the decorative plastic engine cover (if its still there).....its on the drivers side head towards the front in the high pressure oil rail. its a three wire sensor. How do you know thats your problem?
Thanks for the response. I was told in needed replacing because when it's cold (usually in the mornings) it runs like it's choking out or bogging down...does that sound like the issue? I appreciate the help.
I don't recall it acting like that last year when it was cold. It runs OK when I plug it in if it's cold. Do you think I need to replace the EBV Valve? If so where is that located?
Many of us just unplug the EBV. There is a plug connector just under turbo near drivers side valve cover. You can unplug it and see if it is better.
You can also see if the valve moves freely by pusshing the arm back and forth on turbo. Yours might be sticking
