Ok here goes,I swapped out injectors a few months back and have been having a problem with a lot of blue smoke on start up.I ordered new O Rings and ripped it all apart today again to do them.Last time I pulled the injectors I was able to suck some fluid out of the cylinders with my Mighty Vac pump,But today I cant seem to get a drop out of them.Is this possible?I have drained the oil out of the truck to change it while I am at it,maybe thats why? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gifAlso as of now the oil is drained from motor, injectors are back in and glow plugs out.I should be ok to fill the crankcase back up with oil and crank it over and let whatever may be in the cylinders fly out the glow plug holes right? And last but not least when I removed the glowplugs I noticed that only one of them had a dark kind of sticky substance on it.Not on the tip,but on the shaft itself.Almost like cooked oil or somthing.Any ideas what that maybe?Im am gonna take a break from it for today and sit back and have a few cold ones. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gifStart again in the AM.Thanks

Glow plug relay? I just changed mine and the huge amounts of smoke are gone, I thought it was my glow plugs...which I am going to change anyways, but it made me feel better knowing the truck will start fine.

Thanks for the sugestion, but I have recently changed the glow plug relay and glow plugs when I first installed the injectors. It is definatly fuel that is burning blue.I called Bean and he said for me to try a few things out which didnt work.Called today to let him know they didnt work but he is out of the shop for a few days. They said somthing about maybe having to send the injectors back to have looked at.I just want to exhaust all my options before doing that as I cant be without the truck as my 6.0 is in the shop again and who knows when I will get it back.Did I mention 6 times now in 18000 miles. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
