2003 7.3...truck seems to have slight miss..not real bad but noticeable when listening at tailpipe..could this be injector problem or something else not quite right? other than that runs fine

could be something loose in cat or muffler
could be uvc harness loose or bad / intermitant miss
could be poppet screw loose / will miss all the time
could be injector with worn poppets / over 170000 miles
how does it run hard

Can you get it scanned and do a buzz test / cc test too

Easiest thing is to have it run buzz test and scanned incase just bad UVC harness or connection loose. Now if v covers are off you can watch the oil spouts and see if all spit oil out the same rate. You could also ad idle remove injector wire 1 at a time and the one that does not get worse is the one that is the miss. I would think it is just UVC harness or clip loose.
Could also have loose poppet screw and it would miss bad and spit little or no oil

what is buzz test?
Buzz test is done with a scanner that reads Powerstroke computer.
Buzz test sends signals out to IDM up to injector solenoid and activates injector (BUZZ) and reports back that all passes or fails. If IDM,harness, connector,UVC harness, solenoid does not let signal complete than it fails

I use Autoenginuity on Laptop and many on this site use it as well.
A scanner that reads our trucks can do it.
Dealer can do it.
AUTOZONE CAN'T DO IT
