Here goes.. I will leave out names but will use prices where I can and guess prices where I have to.

Stage 1's..$675-850
Stage 2's..$1250-1600

20* pump...$1400+-??
Twin pumps.. $2500-4500??

So that's what we are basically working with /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif. What I want want to know is what at this point is the most cost effective HP maker /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif. Lets say with a stock good SD pump, stage 1's are good for 350hp . Stage 2's 400hp,

What follows is just for illustration, so don't start /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Now lets assume /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif that a 20* pump with the proper programing will add 50hp across the board.

A twin pump lets say will add 100hp across the board.

Stage 1's with 20*= $2075-2250...400hp
Stage2's """""""""=$2650-3000...450hp

Twin pumps 1's....$3175-5350...450hp
"""""""""" 2's....$3750-6100...550hp

If my guesses on $$ and hp's are close enough for arguement sake, I would think if ya want up to 450hp the 20* pump could be the way to go. For those wanting more then twins are the way.

How Hybrids, F*me's, Mini-me's ect. will come into this with all the new pumps is anybodys guess.

I know there's turbo and fuel concerns but I just left them out. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/phoney.gif

Cary, your cost anylisis will be a bit off when the dual systems come out, think much lower. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Only probelem there is you will need a fuel system cause teh stock bowl can not be retained, but if you plan to get to 450hp a fuel system is already in the budget.

The pumps will benifit most for guys with larger standard 444 injectors, hyrbids wont see as much gains unless the pressure is jacked sky high like 3800psi to regain some injection pressure.

Whao! Stage2's, too high.

Dual Pumps, too high. The BTS isn't even that high. 100HP increase, no way.

20* price, I think it's higher. 50HP increase, I doubt it.

Not sure where your doing your research, but you might want to start over. Another advantage overlooked is, with oil, Split shot injectors can be used as well. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hybrids with oil, some say it's a waste, but that's yet to be determined. Blow_By is the only one that has the two together(I think), just watch him. With 3800psi, it might work. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif

Dual pumps = minimal HP increase
Dual pumps = wide power band
Dual pumps = wider slit across your face from ear to ear /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
