Where's the best place to install inline tranny filter? output line before coolers makes sense but seems return to tranny is where i have seen most of them.

Ouch /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif, got to teach her to duck! Install filter before the trans coolers, that way if ya blow you wont have to replace the coolers /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

Is it okay to install it out in the grill or best before the OTW cooler?
does the one in the radiator plug up as easy as the stacked plate ones?

By OTW(oil to water) I meant the cooler in the bottom of the radiator. I like where yours is but was thinking about whether it should go in the line before the tranny fluid reaches the radiator cooler?

What kind of drop in flow rate, if any, should one get through the cooler in the radiator if it's not plugged? Any ideas?

Say if you wanted to check each of the pieces for flow(pump, coolers) what's the max loss when fluid up to temp?

IIRC it is supposed to maintain a gallon a minute through the coolers but say you are getting 2 gallons a minute out of the tranny before the coolers what should you lose at the radiator and with each cooler after?
