I cant get my hands on some copper washers for injectors, I am planning on reinstalling injector with old ones. The washers on there now are brand new, but I know then have already been collapsed when installing from before. I think the seal will be close but not like a brand new washer compressed for the first time.

if combustion gas does leak past it has the potential to take out all the injectors on that side. is it worth taking the gamble, how much are injectors where you are?

yeah you guys are right terrible idea, there is a shortage of them out here and there will be none for possibly weeks they are saying. That means no truck for that long. Well as they say better safe than sorry. thanks for the replies

No washers in stock..that sucks..I have a whole bunch of them in my tool box at work. That's weird that they don't have the injector seal kits in stock. Definately you want to change them though.

Who is telling you the washers are out of stock, the Ford Dealership? If you have an International dealer close by give them a call.

Are you trying to get only the copper washers? You need to replace the o-rings on the injectors too. They all come in one bag.
