I have a 2008 f-250 with the factory ibc, which works great. The problem is I noticed the other day while hooked to a trailer, that in the info center in the dash is showed 0 tbc gain and no output. but the brake controller under the radio showed 5 gain and the bar graph would increase like nornal. i talked to my dealer and know nothing about what going on, and don't really want to help. i was just wondering if any one else had this problem.

Mine does the exact same thing ('08 F350 Job 3). My dealer didn't have a clue either, but I've seen other people who claim to have the same situation. One person posted on a diesel forum that Ford was aware of the problem and would have a fix in '09. Don't know if this is true or not.

I have heard that the IBC info will be displayed in the info center for 2009. 2008s get the software update with the latest flash but don't have the hardware for it to work properly.

That is what I have heard too. The 2009's do not have a display on the brake controller and must use the info display.
