I had my lower intercooler hose (adaptor) tear on a trip this weekend. It ripped with enough room to cut it and slip it back on. I tightened the spring clamp pretty tight or so I thought until it blew off down the road. My question is what is the proper torque on the spring clamps? Oh and everybody should carry a spare with them. My truck just hit 13K miles. Maybe when the radiator was replaced the inter cooler was left hanging and that caused the failure.
