Scan tool shows a PCM Keep alive, boost pressure sensor, #7 injector low and IDM codes. I don't have the exact codes.

I just replaced the drivers side harness (reused old gasket) and put the "fix" clips in the passenger side harness. It ran fine all week and went to fire it up and idled fine. Put in drive and started to run real rough and had no power. Turned off and back on and fired and ran fine. Had a puff of white smoke on restart. WTS comes on. SES comes on when it runs rough.

I hooked scan tool back up and tried KOER tests and it would not ever finish running them. I let it idle for 20 minutes while I cooked breakfast and never finished.

Pulled out IDM and connectors are super clean. despite the really dirty IDM. I can't hear water in it. I tightened PCM a harness while I was there. It wasn't loose but I gave it a little more tightness to it. Checked wires and can't see bare spots.

CPS was replaced a year or two ago with a Grey part store one.

Battery terminals were really nasty so I cleaned the post and will replace the terminals (marine style).

Any ideas? Coukd it be a PCM relay? I had that issue once before and swapped relays with heater blower motor.

You've got an issue with the passenger side if it doesn't change how it runs when you unplug that side.
The best way to get IDM codes is to run an Injector Buzz Test, like Nick said.
You might also have a chafed wire going over the driver's side valve cover. The common feed wire to each bank shorting out on the valve cover would kill the whole bank.

Truck is running great. Buzz test didn't show anything unusual but the #7 low code is still popping up so the tech believes it could be something in the electronics on the injector or could be the plug on the back of the injector got jarred lose when I was putting the valve covers back on. We're going to pull it down and probably change the injector to see.

There's nothing electronic in the injectors, just a solenoid (coil of wire). Probably NOT the injector. There have been cases of the UVCH getting rubbed by the valve train if not positioned correctly. The injector connectors have a wire clip that holds them in place, and they rarely cause problems. The internal connections to the VC gasket on the other hand do come loose.

Did you check under the harness going over the DS valve cover?
