Thanks... How much should this screw go in from the stock setting? I turned it about 1/8th of a turn and it stopped. I saw smoke difference, but should it go in more? How far out do you guys have your external screws? Does this make a big difference? I know that I have changed these setting from the stock ones because the guy I bought this from wouldnt have played with it all and it had the plastic cover still on it.

I have a pyro, homemade K&N intake will be on as soon as parts come. I was just wondering how much the screw should be moving, thanks.

The IP could have been setup on request at the rebuilders, usually if bottomed out it is adviseable to turn it back 1/4 turn or 1-2 flats so as not to jam the internals. The screw is hard to turn in some cases so be careful.

Very true, I should probably back it off a hair, has everybody else on here done the same? The pump was never rebuilt by the previous owner, it has 85k miles on it. Beats me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

to get the most out of turning the screw up--you need the turbo ats mods--turn up the pump-then turn up the boost-and get gauges before doing this--
