Two times today while driving normal speeds 65-70 My edge Attitude alerted at 25 PSI of boost, I noticed that even at about 1500 RPM the Boost showed 12-15 PSi, If I accelerated to 2500 or so it would peg at 30.

I slowed to an Idle and it went back to normal.

Worked fine for several miles and did it again.

I am leaving on a 1200 Mile round trip Monday, Anything I should check first?

I tried setting 0,1,2,3 on the Edge while this was going on and it stayed the same.

Did you feel a change ? or just notice the wierd reading ?

Turbo is going out. My truck did the exact same thing and finally the turbo started making ungodly noises.
I would not go on a long trip with it.
Good luck on not getting busted on the programmer.

Lets not jump to conclusions just yet....it could be at least 4 other things I can think of other than a turbo going out.
More info would definetly help.

What do you want to know? I will try and provide as much info as needed.

I read something about the EGR Valve should I pull and clean?


And If I had to take it in again I would Pull the Programmer.

or take it to My Friends Dealership.

No Surge or anything like the boost is really going that high, No difference in sound that I noticed.

Did you come hear for comfort? If you need comfort look at my mileage. Wont buy a truck because it wont be enough of a change to justify the expense, and this one runs as good as when I bought it. I think what he was saying, was could be ebp, could me a bad map, or yea, could just be the attitute, as the readings on those have proven erratic at times. If the truck shows no other symptoms then that could be normal boost levels. Pull the edge of and see how it drives, and what your stock boost is.

Me come here for comfort??? Heck no. Just giving info on what my issue was when I had the EXACT same symptoms.

03Six0 got what I was saying....
The problem...sometimes...is that several things can cause the exact same symptoms.
My feeling was that if there was no discernable difference in the truck...I'd loook at the Attitude first...as their boost readings have been known to be less than perfect.

I cleaned the EGR Valve so far no more problems, I don't know if that really had anything to do with it or not but I figured it needed cleaned anyway, It was a Pain in the A~~ to get it out.
