2002 F350 XLT SRW 7.3, 2017 / 2017 F250 6.7 King Ranch
I've been off this forum for several years, since the days of my first 7.3 back in 03,04,05... I've had several more Superduty's since, just never needed to come back for anything. Over the years I would sell them and upgrade inside warranty and my experiences with 6.7 have been stellar. Anyway, I sold my 2018 Raptor (daily driver) and picked up a 2002 F350 SRW with 246k. I love this truck!! This is why I fell in love with diesels. Anyway, after a couple of weeks the power on the dash and the accelerator power went out. I remember the TDS website and within a 5 minute search had found similar problems and correctly diagnosed the issue. The gear selector was shorting out and blowing a fuse. The local dealer had the gear selector ($93) and I was back up and running. I was reminded of the value of this community of ford owners coming together to help one another. I was reminded the sheer joy of researching and fixing a problem myself and getting back up and running. I still have 2017 F250 SuperDuty, but I have to say... This 2002 7.3 is clearly my favorite!!
