I'm just wondering if anyone has insight on the Edge Juice Platinum with Attitude vs. the SCT Livewire with regards to the TCM? Which has more control and which is "safer" Any advice would be great, thanks. Product doesnt really matter to me since they are about the same price though i do like the on the fly adjustment of juice (on the other side i like the two tune of livewire lol) :icon_confused:

Seems everyone on here says SCT with tunes from Innovative Diesel or Elite Diesel. I'm running the canned performance tune, I will soon purchase tunes from one of the above mentioned companies. Even the canned tunes add unbelievable power.

I'd definitely recommend our SCT programming. The Livewire is a great device and monitors any parameter you'd be interesting in viewing. However, there is another option. If you like the look of the Edge monitor, you can go with the SCT X3 and Edge Insight monitor. You'll have the compact design of the monitor and still have the SCT custom tuning. It's a very popular option for our customers. :thumbsup:

Which monitors come with the EGT probe? Or have them fairly cheap?

Neither, it's an option for both. $80 for the Edge, since it's just a K type thermocoupler with a "special" connector. The Livewire requires an amplifier and and the thermocoupler, so it's $199.

I am happy with my Edge Juice Platinum. The original one died and Edge took care of it beyond what I expected.

I would not notice the SCT difference. I primarily bought it for the monitor functions. I use the fuel save mode in the winter, towing when towing over 5K and drive setting in the summer for a bit better throttle response when it is hot outside. I have never tried levels 4 or 5 and have not obtained the code for level 6.

I have both,
The Sct with tunes from Innovative are sick for running around and blowing smoke. However I tow almost evry day so I run the Edge along with a Trans only no EGR tune from innovative.
So I get shift on the fly from Edge< and a great shift from innovative,
works well for me

Im running the livewire with a trans only tune from innovative along with the Edge Juice W/attitude in whatever tune I desire.

I ran them both alone for a good bit. The Edge is much more laggy than the SCT, but I tow way to often to keep switching back and forth between tunes

its a matter of covenience.

I think i'm eventually just going to go with an X3 after all this discussion and get an analog EGT gauge. I don't want to break anything or pay $2k+ for installed studs so i'll just keep it on the moderate tune and only play sometimes
