I started at 7:30 and by 8:15 I had them all out and was amazed that the truck ran as well as it has been, judging by the plugs.

Here are some more. Notice, how the center electrode is burnt off on quite a few of them. Also, just looking at them you can see which ones were lose. I am absolutely amazed that this problem is not more common. I had to do quite a bit of digging to find this. I am sure there are a lot of people out there that have this noisy engine and have ford make all kinds of repairs. I had taken mine to the dealer here for an oil change (too old for that myself and the dealer is so cheap - $25.00) and the service advisor immediately pointed to the Cam Phazers. What a money maker!!!!! You would not believe the difference this made. Amazing:lol:
