Just picked up my new 05' F250 crew cab, short box, 4x4, PS 6.0. By far the nicest truck I have ever owned. With 250 miles on it my buddies Hemi powered 1/2 ton could barely keep up. Sorry about his luck. Can't wait to pull the camper and see how it works out. It has to be better than the 04' F150. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

I've been towing a 24' travel trailer with my truck, but that has been sold and the new 36' 5th wheel is on order and should be here by the end of August. I can't wait to see how the beast does towing a real load /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Just pulled my new 28' enclosed home from Elkhart tonight. Sure makes life easy compared to the old F150. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

I had to smile when I read your post, I too just purchased my new 05 F250 4X4 Crewcab Lariat with 6.0 Powerstroke and auto Trans a week ago today. I now have 450 miles on it but will be taking an 8000 mile trip starting saturday of this week. I look forward to tracking the mileage and watching it improve. You said you purchased the
Red one, I purchased the Wedgewood blue with Beige lower accent.
