After cleaning the K&N Filter, has anyone found a less expensive oil to use???

The red oil K&N sells costs way too much.

You won't find many that use the K&N on Diesels for fear of dusting the engine by allowing too much dirt through.
I used one for the first year before I read up on them. If you are going to keep using it a few bucks for the K&N oil is a lot less the $7K for a new motor and still cheaper then buying a new factory filter every six months.
If I remember I would get to oil a filter 4-5 times on a can.
