Sorry to hear you did not even get 1,000,000 miles out of your engine by running that K&N.
I could have the truck was still running very good considering the mileage but, I was losing coolant which when I ran the coolant test it showed to have exhaust gasses in it so, that likely meant head gasket failure. I didn't want to take a chance of ruining the block since I had it sold when I did the engine swap.

I too recommend against using the K&N filter. Your best options would most likely be the OEM Ford AIS or a Tymar type that uses the Donaldson B085001 filter.
