I have a 1999 f250 7.3 XLT model, can I leave it on the "on" mode where the glow plugs heat up? Will this fry my glow plugs if I do this? Thanks! Any quick response is appreciated I'm trying to tune it right now.

If you're talking about checking things out with the key in run position, that's not a problem. The glow plugs are controlled to be on for a maximum of 2 minutes, depending on oil temperature. And that only happens when the oil is COLD. At normal daytime temps now, they're on for a much shorter time. Once the oil temp is 140F, they don't even come on.

Thanks! I was putting a tune on my truck and I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to fry them while it was on the run position.
