Lariat to XLT gauge swap

I have an 05 XLT it comes with a black instrement cluster with white letters I want to know if it is possible or has anyone actually swapped in a Lariat instrerment cluster. If so what is involved? This is purely for looks I what to match my white faced autometer gauges. I know you can simply buy new faces for your gauge cluster but everyone has to try something so humor me. If this possible would the Lariat optional trip odometer/miles till empty/current milage options work? Thanks
