found the old p-stroke sitting a little ****eyed in the back end this afternoon, before even getting on my knees knew it was those fun leaf spring brackets, only my rear one broke, you guys have any suggestions on whether to buy a few knew wheels for my grinder or to attempt the acetaline torch trick?

Hmmm...

How about a nice sharp chisel bit on an air hammer? Next would be torch for me then grinder last as it takes forever. Hope this helps.

I removed some spring brackets from a junkyard frame by first drilling the rivets through the center, (I think with a 1/8" bit then with a 11/32", maybe), then using a chisel to break off the head and a punch to drive out the body.

Works great. Also, you can cut a "+" in the head of the rivet w/a cut off wheel/grinder and then go at it with the chisel.
