Hello guys, I'm new to the forum, I recent purchased 1990 f250 7.3 XLT
my problem is that oil is leaking from the front of my engine, it's not the rear seal, any ideal

Welcome to the Diesel Stop.
Anyway if it's leaking at the FRONT it can't be the REAR main seal.

It could be the front main seal, valve covers, IP gear cover. The key to finding any oil leaks is starting with a clean engine. After its clean then run it for a few minutes and the source of the leak should be obvious.

Welcome to the TDS. Anyhow, who gets up that early to post?

If you go to replace the front seal, check here for what it takes, there is a certain procedure to do it, if you don't know how.

After you have cleaned up the engine. When you find oil pooling, or running along a ridge, look above there to see if it might be coming from higher up. I have seen many "head gasket leaks" turn out to be valve covers, or if it was coolant, a seeping hose somewhere.
