I have had two leaks within 30 days. One the rear main seal and another one can't remember what is was but started with an i. Anyone else seeing leaks after 36k miles?
could it be injector leak, that would be an internal leak causing a no start. have had some that had leaks at 10,000 miles, but were minor. some are coming from the cam sensor in the frt, & turbo oil feed line. havn't had too many at all with a rear main seal leaking, just one.
Mine started leaking at about 20k miles. First they replaced a CPS o-ring. Then the replaced the RMS. Now it's leaking more than ever. I'm reluctant to take the truck to the dealer right now. I have a mare about ready to have a foal and I want to have the truck in case there are any emergencies that might require me to haul the mare to Lexington. I'd be sick if the truck were in the shop and I needed to make an unscheduled haul to the veterinary hospital.
Funny thing is that the oil level on the dipstick is right where I filled it to at the last oil change (about 4800 miles ago). I have not noticed any performance issues, but I'm kind of wondering if the engine is "making oil". I have a kit from Blackstone and will do an OA with my next oil change to see if there is too much fuel in the oil. I'm not going to change the oil until I take it in. This oil already has dye in it. Hopefully the mare will have her foal in the next couple of weeks so I can go ahead and get an appointment scheduled.
FWIW, my truck runs really good and tows great (other than the rough ride on really rough roads). I just can't stand the oil drips here and there on my driveway. I was really going to try to ignore the leaking, but I just can't do it...
