now i know about te rear main's going sometimes, and this may be it. but i ceratinly hope not! but what else could be causing a leak in that area? it is dripping for sure after driving it. this just started last week or so. lookin at it, it seems wet up near the driver side exhaust, toward the rear, and on the pass side, up to what i assume is the starter, and obviously on the bottom front of the tranny. could it be something else, and if it a rear main, (just so i can get a good scare and get my heart beating) whats it cost to fix?

Wer..yeah, DIY trying to find o. leaks..even some techs using dye cant find them. Been there/done that. Some reported ICP leaking. Cam sensor o ring..right side..above p.s. pump, but easy to spot if leaking. Check oil feed to turbo. Good luck!

I kinda doubt RMS would throw oil up high, but?

Hey OT..you said cam sensor is on right side by the P.S. Pump? Does it have 2 red wires comin out of it? Its on the driver side right? I have a leak that is running down the length of the oil pan and down the bellhousing but i followed it back to this sensor and it looks like that is the prob but i just wanna make sure what im lookin at is indeed the cam sensor. If it is..how much do those usually cost to repair?

Fire...when I say right/left side..thats sitting behind the steering wheel. Right (p) side..cam sensor in on side of block above the p.s.pump..shine light up there. Has 2 wires, but dont recall color. Mine fixed under warr. Costs??

IIRC..crank sensor is on left (D) side. That maybe what your looking at? Good luck!
