Hey I have a 2004 6.0 crew cab short beb, it already has a 4 inch lift on 35's but I am going to do an 8inch lift on 38's. Will I need to extend all of the brake lines and stuff like that? What about the drive shafts(4x4)? If any body has any idea please let me know. thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

You definitely want to extend the brake lines. I went with braded steel lines.

The rear driveshaft is fine. The front one SHOULD be extended, especially if you do any off-roading. Mine still had a pretty good amount of mesh, I have not had it extended yet. Some have had to get it extended right away as it won't mesh at all. That is something that you can do after the fact, once you determine if it's needed.

Good luck,
Mark

you can actually just bend the brake line bracket or even remount it lower and you will not need longer brake lines. Also if your front driveshaft doesnt work and you dont have the cash to extend it, you could always just run a driveshaft spacer. and the rear driveshaft will just need the carrier barring shimed down, and your kit should come with shims.
