Ok guys. I am trying to decide if I want to line-x my bed or not. I really like the product and have reasearched it a lot. My biggest question now is how will it look on a white truck? I currently have a bed mat and while I like it my fender wells are really taking a beating. If anyone has pics of their white truck with line-x I would love to see them to help me make my desicion.

Why would it look bad?? I think all Line-X jobs look great no matter what color. If you want it to match, why not get it tinted white?

have a 2011 white xlt crew with crome pkg. and line x (black) sprayed in. I think it looks great and it is very tuff. I would show pics but truck got towed to dealer with injector problems, sure hope to get it back soon. Any way I would not hesitate to get it in black, looks great, and better then scratched up wheel wells!

I guess I am just concerned that it might fade after a year or two and the dull (not shiny) black might not look that great. Thats kind of why I wanted to see some pics on a truck that has been used

You can get the Line-Xtra coating applied for a little more cash. This makes the liner UV stable and had a lifetime warranty against fading (I think).
My friend has a white F-150 with a black Line-X without the coating and his is a bit faded after 3 years. That is in the brutal NM sun though. He has beat the snot out of it and it still looks perfect besides the fading.

I had the same concerns on my truck. I will try to get some pics for you by the weekend. I thought about getting the bed liner the same color as the bottom (tan) of the truck. I thought it would look funny with the top of the bed having the black plastic and the king ranch plastic is way too much money for me to spend. I talked to the linex guy about white and he was quick to tell me that he would not do that if it was his truck. I ended up getting the black with the UV protection. They may still have a coupon on the website if you watch a short video. I think it was $20 off. I have only had mine for about 6 months with zero problems. I will not be able to help you with knowing if the UV protection really works because I just installed a truxedo bed cover. I would suggest black unless you have the king ranch or king ranch plastics.

yea, pics would be great. I have even googled white truck with line-s and cant get any pics. You think somewhere someone would have posed a pic of a white truck with line-x.

I ran into a local guy who had a recent MY white F350 line-x'd in black part way up both sides (a little above where my accent color line is) and both bumpers. I thought it looked great. If I see him again, I'll ask permission to grab a picture for here.

His truck looked good enough to start me thinking of eventually doing the same thing in ADOBE for my KR in a few year. If you have to drive dirty/snowy roads, I see it as a real advantage.

I'm thinking of getting it on the rockers, fenders, and along the bed. To keep the gravel chips n rust away. I seen a black 01 with black on black that looked cool.
They want a fortune to do that. No doubt it would be tough though.

NVERL8, I have a 08 with a line-x bedliner in it. I will try to shoot pics tomorrow once its light outside. Just a couple of thoughts. I have used Line-x on the last three trucks I have had. I have used them (maybe abused). They have all faded somewhat, and I have never seen a two year old bed that was as bright as a newly sprayed one. My other thought is that I would not have one sprayed white. I built a 1971 short wide p/u. The guy who bought it from me had a spray-in tinted to match (corvette yellow). I dont know if it was linex or not, but the first time he slid something into the bed, it transferred paint from the item to the bed, which left about a thousand little dark spots on the bed where the high spots were. I would stick to black or something dark. Just a new members opinion.
