OK-

We are finally making some progress....slow but sure. The Fire Rings finally showed today, as did the turbo from ATS-one word-WOW! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Here are some pics of it all-including some new gauges, etc.

Jeez, is that all the gauges you could put in there; that's nothing. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What are you using the (3) intake temp gauges to monitor and are you just monitoring one head temperature?

When Bean finishes polishing up a set of intakes with YOUR name on them instead of his, just send me the set with his name on them and I will properly dispose of them.
Your truck looks great! I think the air intake temps are a brilliant idea. Let me guess where you have the TC's: Before the intercooler, after the intercooler and at the air intake pipe...
How did your old cryo'd rods measure out? Any stretch?

Dang Brian, were you a pilot in your previous life. Does this now qualify your cab as a cockpit now. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Very Nice! Any chance you can snap a picture of the turbo next to a stocker? Also, you think your enclosed trailer is long enough, DAM! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

See you in Indy! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

Trailer is only 44 feet...they make them bigger!

I can see what I can do, but right now we are in a rush to get this thing together (I am the driver, so keep that in mind!) but I am sure [email protected] will have some more comparison stats and pictures soon.....

44ft! You got a ClassA? In California, you would be pushing near the limit in length. Front to back, I think is 65 ft total.

No problem on pics, if you promise to show me at Indy? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif I can wait a few more days! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No Class A yet-but the truck I think is 22 ft long, and the trailer over hangs the bed six feet or so-close!

I'll be more than happy to show you anything once we make it to Indy. If it doesn't break, I've been known to give rides... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

the diff temps really change based on speed and load-empty and around town it mirrors trans temp (125), but loaded and towing at 80MPH and it will jump to 230 or so.

WOW, Gauges Galore. How could you keep an eye on all of this? Nice work!

wildbill-

Pretty simple really-the gauges all monitor temps that rise at different rates-so I positioned them accordingly. The EGT's rise with boost-which is related to RPM-the oil, trans, diff, rise slowly and only need a glance once in a while. The NOS gauge is used only before a run-to make sure the bottle is open and up to pressure, etc. Hope that helps. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif
