ROFLMAO. No, but here's 3 reasons to get one:You're worried about someone siphoning off your DEF? Wow...where do you live??
X2ROFLMAO. No, but here's 3 reasons to get one:
It's not about what someone takes out, it's about what someone puts in your DEF tank. Same as a gas tank, really, though theft is another issue there.
- Someone accidentally adds fuel to your DEF or vice-versa
- Someone deliberately adds fuel to your DEF or vice-versa
- Someone adds unknown substances to your DEF
Cool. Hopefully Stant (or a competitor) listen soon.Just sent out the email, we'll see what they say.
Now THAT would be hilarious!!:lol:You're worried about someone siphoning off your DEF? Wow...where do you live??
Some whacked chemist will discover how to make a designer drug out of DEF, and those methheads will quit stealing cat convertors and start siphoning your DEF.Now THAT would be hilarious!!:lol:
Great, then Walmart will start putting it behind the pharmacy counter with the Sudafed. Some whacked chemist will discover how to make a designer drug out of DEF, and those methheads will quit stealing cat convertors and start siphoning your DEF.
I think that's a good thing. I believe they're getting more serious about it.You got more than I did, sent them an email and have yet to hear back.
That would work to prevent accidents, but wouldn't prevent intentional damage. They should make a cap that when opened it blocks the fuel fill. Might keep people from putting def in the fuel tank. Then again it probably wont.
